Sophie nodded and finished up her homework, quickly closing her book and throwing it into her bag. She groaned when he tackled her, trying to push him away weakly. "You are such a jerk," she laughed, not bothering to try and push him away anymore. This was always normal for them to mess around like this. It only made her think about how much she really had missed this.

Jason laughed lightly and leaned down a bit, then caught himself when he realized what he was about to do. He scrunched up his nose and stuck his tongue out at her playfully in hopes be almost nonchalant about it and he climbed off her and laid back on the couch, looking at the screen where the movie he put in was playing. "Come here!" He said, extending his arms out to her.

Sophie laughed and curled up next to him, resting her head on his shoulder as she watched the movie. "We're like the weirdest people ever," she giggled, trying to keep her attention on the movie but failing. She wanted to talk to him but wasn't sure what to talk about. "You're like that greatest friend ever," she said as it was the most obvious thing.

Jason looked down at her and doubled his arms around her waist, resting his head on the arm of the couch and failing to keep his attention on the movie playing. She was a really hard person to watch movies with because it seemed liked she always wanted to talk, or couldn't keep still to watch it. But of course he loved her anyway. "You're my best friend Soph." He grinned and goofily hugged her, chuckling while he did so. "I never want to lose you."

Sophie laughed, looking up at him. "I love ya Jase," she said, grinning. "And I'd prefer if I didn't lose you either," she giggled. She blushed lightly, noticing how close they were at the moment. It felt different than it usual did, something she couldn't explain. But she liked it. "Do you want to do something else?" she asked, but not wanting to move from their position.

Jason shrugged and moved her a bit so he was able to get up. "What do you have in mind?" He asked, walking to the kitchen and finding the bag of cookies in the cabinet that he had hid from his little brother. When it came to his chocolate chip cookies he was pretty selfish. "We could play a game!" He said excitedly with his mouth full. The sentence really came out like "We couff ray a ane!" As he swallowed the cookie he smiled sheepishly and placed the bag back on the counter.

Sophie followed him into the kitchen and hopping on the counter, taking a cookie fro the bag when he set it on the counter and taking a bite. "English please," she giggled, wiping some of the cookie crumbs from his face. She smiled softly, thinking about how she never noticed how attractive he really was. She shook the thought away and got off the counter, "So what should we do?" she asked.

Jason bit his lip when she took her hand from his face and leaned up against the counter next to where she was sitting. "Want to go in my room and hang out?" He asked, thinking about how it would be awkward if they haven't done stuff like that many times before. Usually they would just lie around on his bed and watch TV or he'd teach her something on guitar that he had learned before. "Come on ba--...Soph.." He bit his lip and shook his head, wondering why that had even slipped. "Sorry.." He muttered, getting shy before slipping into his door and kicking a pile of clothes to the side of the room.

Sophie nodded, slipping into his room and sitting on the edge of his bed. "What happened to the OCD guy before he went off to college," she teased, trying to convince herself that she was just imagining and hearing things. Sophie of course had feelings for him but she was sure that it was just a crush and it was making her think that he almost called her baby and was leaning in to kiss her.

Jason chuckled and rolled on his bed, obviously bored and fidgeting. "The OCD Jason is wanting to burst free but the busy Jason is taking up too much time." He laughed at how little sense that made as he pushed himself up and walked over to her casually then threw her over his shoulder and tossed her on the bed, half-smiling at how her hair got in her face. "That's a nice look for you, you slightly resemble the girl from the ring." He made a funny face and jumped onto the bed next to her, grabbing her arms and pinning her playfully while he continued to laugh his infamous laugh.

"You make me want to not go to college, I'll just stay and die in this place," she joked. She didn't really have any plans of what she was going to do after high school even though she was in her final year of high school. Sophie let out a short scream when he threw her over his shoulder, tearing her away from her thoughts. "You do know that means I have to kill you in seven days right?" she laughed and trying to pull her hands away from his hold.

Jason scrunched up his nose and let out a small laugh. He pinned her down underneath his body, no longer caring about how close he was to her, and he didn't want to risk their friendship, but he was getting to the point where he wanted to act on his feelings. He hadn't seen her in so long and it was almost like she matured more or something. Obviously he hadn't though by how playful he was all the time. "You couldn't kill me." His voice was a bit husky as he leaned toward her, brushing his lips against hers lightly and shutting his eyes at the small spark feeling. "You would have no best friend or anywhere to stay when you're upset." He wasn't sure what he was doing at all, but just acting on instinct. It felt right though, to him at least.

Sophie's breath caught in her throat as brushed their lips together. Refusing to believe that it was real. She closed her eyes tightly and opened them again, in awe that it was actually real. She leaned up sloly pressing their lips together lightly for just a few seconds before pulling away. "You have no idea how long I've wanted to do that," she whispered.

Jason half-smiled and chewed on the inside of his cheek for a moment before he leaned down and kissed her again, placing his hands on either side of her so his body was hovering above hers. As he got a bit tired from holding himself up he let his body on hers a little, but he was careful not to be crushing her. When she mentioned how long she had wanted to kiss him he almost laughed, never realizing how much he did actually want to kiss her. She was perfect for him and they had been best friends for years. "Do you trust me?" He asked before reattaching their lips and gently running his tongue along her bottom one, unsure as to how she would react.

Sophie placed her hand on cheek as the kiss continued and nodded her head slightly. She trusted him more than anyone else. He was the only person she ever told everything, only because she trusted him so much. She had alway shad feeling for him but never really noticed how much she cared for him until now. She parted her lips slightly, too dazed to be aware of what was going on.
